MOON ART NIGHT SHIMOKITA
出品作品『月世界旅行2022 / Le Voyage dans la Lune 2022』
月をテーマにした作品を制作して欲しいと依頼をいただき、SF特撮映画の原初の作品であるジョルジュ・メリエスの『月世界旅行』をモチーフに制作した。NFTという現代の映像媒体は、データに物質性を帯びさせるために短く、音のない作品が多い。それは極めて『初期に作られた映画作品』に近いフォーマットではないだろうか。鑑賞者は屋外でこの映像を『お月見』として鑑賞することができる。
I received a request to create a work on the theme of the moon, and took inspiration from the seminal science fiction film, "A Trip to the Moon," by Georges Méliès. The modern visual medium known as NFTs is often characterized by short, soundless works, in an attempt to imbue the digital data with physicality. This format strikingly resembles that of "early film works." Viewers can enjoy this video outdoors, treating it as a "moon viewing" experience.

『仮想四畳半』は京都にある茶室を改装したスペース『WA MACCHA 京都祇園』で行われる
NFTの企画展です。屏風や掛け軸に様々なアーティストのNFT作品を投影し、生花や器と共に展 示することで東洋的アプローチでのデジタルデータ鑑賞空間の構築を試みます。NFTアートは何 時誰の手に渡ったとしても、保存場所はブロックチェーン上から動かず、まるで幽霊や陽炎のよう にあらゆる場所に出現します。屏風や掛け軸にプロジェクションすることで、そんなNFTアート特 有の”うつろ”な空気感が立ち現れるのではないかと思っております。今年はこの時期に行われる 京都の大きなお祭り”祇園祭”も復活する見込みです。ぜひお祭りと合わせて遊びにきてください。
"KASOU YOJOHAN" is an NFT exhibition held at "WA MACCHA Kyoto Gion," a space refurbished from a tea room in Kyoto. By projecting various NFT works by different artists on folding screens and hanging scrolls, and displaying them with fresh flowers and utensils, we aim to create a space for appreciating digital data through an oriental approach. NFT art, regardless of when or to whom it is transferred, remains immovable from its location on the blockchain, appearing in all sorts of places like ghosts or heat hazes. By projecting onto folding screens and hanging scrolls, we believe that the unique "transient" atmosphere of NFT art can be made manifest. This year, it is expected that Kyoto's big festival "Gion Festival," which is held around this time, will be revived. Please come and visit in conjunction with the festival.

ホリゾン株式会社の『葛飾北斎の作品をモチーフにセーターの図案を考えて欲しい』との依頼で制作。北斎の『諸国滝巡り』からイメージを引用して制作した。
This was created in response to a request from Horizon Corporation, who asked for a sweater design inspired by the works of Katsushika Hokusai. The design draws inspiration from Hokusai's "A Tour of the Waterfalls in Various Provinces".

『仮想合体! エグゾディックTV仏陀 YAKUSHI』

熱海の海中に温泉が沸き、海中の魚たちが死に絶えそうになった時、万巻上人がふらっとやってきて読経をすると薬師如来が現れて法力で温泉を海から山に映し、それが現在の熱海温泉となった。なんていう伝説がある。
熱海の五つの温泉旅館に散らばる薬師如来の頭、右腕、左腕、右足、左足は、QRコードからアクセスできる仮想空間でのみ一つの体に合体している。NFTとしては一つのバーチャル空間に集まっている５体だが、現実世界ではずいぶん離ればなれになった旅館で、例えば人通りの多いロビーや、誰も来ないかも知れない奥まった宴会場、はたまた山奥の大きなホテルの顔はめ看板の前で、ブラウン管に入った切り取られた海と薬師如来は静かに光を発し続けている。
This work is based on a local legend from Atami, where hot springs are said to have bubbled up from the sea, causing the fish in the sea to die off. When Mankou Shounin happened to pass by and began to recite sutras, Yakushi Nyorai appeared and used his spiritual power to move the hot springs from the sea to the mountains, creating the Atami hot springs we know today.
The heads, right arms, left arms, right legs, and left legs of Yakushi Nyorai are scattered across five different hot spring inns in Atami. In virtual space, accessible via QR code, these parts can only be unified to form one body. As NFTs, these five parts are gathered in one virtual space, but in the real world, they are far apart, situated in inns that are quite distant from each other. For example, they can be found in busy lobbies, possibly deserted banquet halls in the back, or in front of a face-in-hole board located in the remote mountains at a large hotel. In each place, the truncated sea and Yakushi Nyorai, displayed on a cathode-ray tube screen, continue to emit a quiet light.
